Do We Really Need Preseason?

A little over two weeks ago, I said I was very excited for preseason! I was excited that I will finally get to see some football on TV. I was excited to see several players play some exhibition football, especially the young players trying to lock up a roster spot. Then injuries started to take place. Several players have suffered significant injuries. New England Patriots, the team that I root for, lost their first-round pick, Isaiah Wynn for the year. The Washington Redskins lost their second-round pick, Derrius Guice for all of 2018. Guice was expected to be the lead back for the Redskins' offense this year. The Redskins haven't had a good solid running game since the 2012 and 2013 seasons, when Robert Griffen III was the starting quarterback and Alfred Morris was the featured back. They were ready to turn the tables around with Derrius Guice, who won't be with them for this upcoming season.   If you are wondering why can't the NFL survive with only two tea

How Good Did The Patriots Look Thursday Night?

Once again, after a so-so offseason for the New England Patriots, many analysts are expecting a down year for the Patriots. Colin Cowherd of FS1 believes that the Patriots with Brady and Belichick will barely win ten games this year. What evidence does he have to say that? Patriots haven't won less than twelve games in a season since 2010. Since 2013, people have been predicting a fall for the Patriots' dominance. Again and again, Tom Brady and the Patriots get to embarrass them by finishing the season with twelve wins or more, and at least as the second best seed in the conference. Yet, they will never learn. Yes, Brady is getting old by the day, but did you see him play last season? Did you watch him play in the postseason? Yes, he didn't win the big one, but he did throw for 500 plus yards in the game. So is he falling off the cliff this year? Are the Patriots only going to win ten games or less? Do they have any good players on their roster? How about we evaluate s

Players To Watch In This Year's Pre-Season.

People find pre-season not so fun. When I first watched a full pre-season game, I thought to myself, 'how can a football game be so boring?' Wins and losses don't matter in preseason, so what's they point of watching it? Then one day, I was watching First Take on ESPN, and I heard Skip Bayless's view for preseason games. Skip Bayless, who is now a member of Fox Sports said, that he doesn't look for overall stats or wins and losses record in preseason games. He looks for the players who spark on his tv. He looks for young players who play with a lot of energy and make play after play throughout the season. Since then, I have been watching preseason games as Skip does! Believe it or not, I now enjoy watching it. I now look forward to watching preseason games. Last year, I wanted to see how Jimmy Garaopplo and Jacoby Brissett of the Patriots were going to perform in the preseason. This year, there are five players that I want to see play in the preseason. How Will I Draft For My Fantasy Season This Year?

I'm always excited for the Fantasy Football Draft. The position that I'm most excited about this year, is the running back position. This year for the draft, no one should have a problem drafting at least one good running back for their team. There are going to be so many great running backs for fantasy owners to pick from the draft. Le'Veon Bell, David Johnson, Alvin Kamara, Kareem Hunt, Saquan Barkley, Leonard Fournette, Sony Michel, Ezekiel Elliot, Todd Gurley, and a lot of other running backs will be available for us to draft for the 2018 fantasy football season. It's good to have two solid running backs for your fantasy team, but everyone knows that two running backs are not enough to win your fantasy league. In order to win the whole tournament, we need to have a great overall team. Yes, luck does come into play when it comes to winning few key games during the fantasy season, but if you don't get to have a decent draft for your fantasy team, there is no
