Is There Anything Left For Philip Rivers & Eli Manning?

Carson Palmer Retires After 15 Seasons!   Two greats were drafted in the year 2004. Their careers started with drama. Then the two turned drama into success. Both Eli Manning and Philip Rivers have achieved a lot so far in their careers. But just an year before the two were drafted, their was another quarterback who came into the NFL, as the number one pick with a lot of expectation. That quarterback was Carson Palmer who, came out of USC and went to Cincinnati Bengals. He was expected to be the next Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, or at least be the third best quarterback in the NFL just behind them. Also, he was expected to take Cincinnati Bengals to the playoffs for the first time in over a decade and then win games there! In 2005, Palmer did get to end the Bengals' fifteen year drought of playoff appearance. He had a spectacular year statistically, but he couldn't get to help his team win a playoff game. He got hurt on the first play of the game. Then in the next few ye

Reviewing The Championship Games.

The New England Patriots dynasty will end. Minnesota Vikings will become the first team ever to host a Super Bowl in its own stadium. Patriots dynasty didn't end and the Vikings are not heading back to Minneapolis to get themselves ready for hosting the Super Bowl this year. I have said it before, it is extremely hard to predict the accurate results in the National Football League. Especially in the playoffs! I gave the Eagles no chance of representing NFC in the Super Bowl, but they won their two playoff games and now are heading to Super Bowl. First I picked the Atlanta Falcons to upset them in the divisional round, last week. It didn't go that way. Then this past weekend for the conference championship game, I picked the Vikings to beat the Eagles easily. After what I saw in the divisional round with Vikings winning their matchup against a very good New Orleans Saints team and Eagles barely winning against the Atlanta Falcons (the game in which Nick Foles threw aw

Final Four Set For Championship Weekend!

Super Bowl is easily the biggest game of the year. However, one could argue that better football is played two weeks prior to Super Bowl, in the championship round. Four teams battle it out for a chance to compete in the big game on Super Sunday. The conference championship weekend has witnessed one of the greatest games in NFL history. The 1994 matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Dallas Cowboys was a memorable game in which, Steve Young and the 49ers finally broke through against the powerful Cowboys of the 90s. Then we have the 1998 NFC championship game between the Minnesota Vikings with their high offense against the Atlanta Falcons, who were the big underdogs in that matchup. Vikings were supposed to dominate the Falcons and cruise to the Super Bowl game. That didn't happen but something else happened. Gary Anderson, one of the best kickers in the league, missed a very important kick late in the game to seal the deal. Falcons took advantage of it, came right

Didn't See The Eagles Flying This High.

Never underestimate an opponent, especially in the NFL. A week ago, in the wildcard round, Tennessee Titans shocked the world by upsetting the Kansas City Chiefs, 22-21 at Arrowhead Stadium. Everyone expected the Chiefs to dominate the Titans. It did go that way for the first half of the game, as Chiefs took a 21-3 lead against the Titans. Then in the second half, Titans completely flipped the script. They held the Chiefs scoreless and scored nineteen unanswered points in the second half to seal the deal. I knew the Chiefs were going to get beat in the playoffs, but not by the Titans. Tennessee has a good young quarterback in Marcus Mariota, a nice overall team, but they were lucky to be in the playoffs and they were inexperienced with the playoffs' atmosphere. I was amazed with how the Titans came back and won the game. However, Philadelphia Eagles amazed me even more this past Saturday night, by beating the Atlanta Falcons in a game, in which they were the underdogs. In my

Who Will Represent NFC In The Big Game?

It's tough to predict the two teams that will make it to the Super Bowl at the end of the football season. Then in the next minute, predicting the Super Bowl winner among the two isn't easy either. Tough to predict the playoff picture every year and that's what makes the football season so exciting. However, out of ninety-eight seasons in NFL history, this season has been the most interesting and unusual one of all time. Why? Well, last year in the 2016-17 season, Dallas Cowboys were the number one seed in the NFC, who weren't expected to win their division. The New York Giants made it to the playoffs as a wild card team with an 11-5 record, which was led by their solid decent. A lot of people did expect the giants to make it to the playoffs, but no one and I mean no one expected two teams from the NFC east division (one of the worst divisions in 2015) to make it to the playoffs. Oakland Raiders in the 2016-17 season, made it to the playoffs for the first time sinc
