What To Do With The Cleveland Browns?

How does a team allow points with no time on the clock? Well there is only one team capable of doing that. Wanna guess who that team is? They were really good in the early days. They dominated the league from mid 1940s to most of the 1960s. Then they let the man, who formed the team and was responsible for its early success go, because they basically got tired of his strategies and wanted to move on. The team is actually named after that man. Paul Brown is the man who co-founded the Cleveland Browns and whose name was chosen for the franchise. He coached the Browns from 1946 to 1962. In that span he helped the Browns win seven championships, four All American Football Conference (AAFC) championships and three National Football League (NFL) championships. To win that many championships in less than twenty years is very difficult. Not even the almighty New England Patriots of 2000s and of today, g...

Odell Bechkham Jr Needs To Wake Up!

With the 12th pick in the 2014 Draft, the New York Giants select Odell Beckham Jr from LSU. Giants fans were excited about this pick, but they didn't know how ultra-talented this kid was. Not even in their wildest dream, they saw this young kid to take over the city of New York the way he did. Obviously he was a star in college during his time with LSU, but we all know, being a star in college doesn't guarantee a player to be a star in professional football. Odell was expected to be another weapon for Eli Manning and to be the number two receiver, behind Victor Cruz. Then before midway into the 2014 season, Victor Cruz suffered a season ending injury at Philadelphia in a game against the Eagles. Suddenly, the offense of the New York Giants depended heavily on Odell. Guess what he was more than ready for the challenge. He had an incredible season in his first year in the league in terms of numbers and impact. He caught attention o...

Jerry Rice Is The Greatest Receiver of All Time! Is He?

When you ask a football fan about who the greatest receiver in NFL history is, ninety to ninety-five percent would say Jerry Rice within a second. According to NFL Network, Jerry rice is the greatest player of all time, not just the greatest receiver. Well I totally disagree with that assessment, but I do struggle with the statement of him being the greatest receiver. His numbers are out of this world and definitely say that he is the greatest. If we are going to use numbers to determine who the best player in the game is at a certain position or any position in that case, it would mean that Dan Marino is a lot better QB than Joe Montana or John Elway. If we use numbers in the game of basketball, then Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest basketball player of all time and no one even comes close, not even Jordon. Well I will discuss the impact made by each of the top five consensus wide r...

Why Aaron Rodgers is Not on Tom Brady's Level yet!

Aaron Rodgers is a great quarterback. The best thrower of the football in NFL history. He can scramble out of the pocket and throw the ball across his body like no other. The passes he throws are so pretty to watch. Tom Brady isn't as athletic as Rodgers is. He can certainly throw the ball as he is very accurate, has the arm strength and good with making decisions when he's in the pocket. However, according to the sports world he is no Aaron Rodgers, since he can't throw a pretty ball across his body.    So game on the line, you need to convert on 4th down and score in order to win, who do you want as your quarterback? Do you want Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady? You want your quarterback to throw a pretty pass or you want your quarterback to just find a way to win? Does it matter to you how you win a game? It shouldn't.    Tom Brady has won a lot of big games in the clutch. He comes up big when the lights are all on him. Proof? ...

What Really is NFL All About?

The biggest sport in the United States of America, NFL gives people different reasons to enjoy the sport and love it. Some people love it for its thrilling action, which includes vicious hits. Some love it because it is more than just hitting, as an NFL game can be very strategic. Some love it because of a team that plays in the league represents the city they live in. Oh and some love it because it introduced fantasy football to them. These are some of the reasons why people in general love National Football League. But, these can't be the reasons why the football players love to compete in the NFL.     If you look closely, the sport of football is the ultimate team sport and extremely competitive. There are only sixteen games to be played in a season by each of the thirty-two teams and a possible of total four games for the two teams who go all the way to Super...
